Addon Repair

bulletThe aircraft repair feature now automatically creates missing aircraft reference information sheets and checklists in html format.
bulletPrepar3D v3 files can be used to repair Prepar3D v4 addons. This is handy when an addon assumes you have effects, gauges, sounds, etc from the other version.

Customize

bulletAdded an option under the category "Addon Installation", in the section "Confirmation and Warnings". Your two choices for this option are explained below.

When installing a file that already exists:
Ask me what to do each time - if the file being installed already exists, you will be prompted for instructions. This is the default.
Replace existing file if older - if the file being installed is newer than the one that already exists, always overwrite it. Pick this option and you will no longer see the Confirm File Replace dialog during installation; Addit! Pro will decide what to do by comparing the date/time stamp of both files.

Edit Scenery

bulletThe program now remembers the last folder used after you click the Add Area button.

Addon Installation

bulletAdded an option to automatically overwrite existing files during installation if the installed files are newer than the existing files. See Customize for details.

Addon Installation Wizard

bulletAfter the Addon Installation Wizard appears for the first time you are asked if want to see a list of helpful online installation guides. Pick Yes to view a list of Walkthrough Examples that explain how to install various addons like aircraft, panels, scenery and so forth.

Addon Management

bulletMore addon folders are now ignored to increase performance and simplify aircraft management: avatars, countermeasures, submersible and weapons.

Addon Repair

Customize

bulletA new option under Addon Repair called "Use Prepar3D v2 files to repair Prepar3D addons" can be enabled. Do so if you would like Addit! Pro to use Prepar3D version 2 files to help repair version 3 addons.

Edit Aircraft

bulletTweaked the hidden aircraft icon to better differentiate it from the standard visible aircraft icon.

Fixes

bulletCorrected a problem changing the default flight when none is initially specified in Prepar3D's master configuration file.
bulletIn all Addon Installation Wizard steps, the shortcut key for "Paste/Set Folder" was listed as Ctrl-P instead of Ctrl-V.
bulletFixed a focus issue in all Addon Installation Wizard listviews. After using the shortcut key to paste a folder (Ctrl-V), the focus now remains on the list. After using the shortcut key to mark a file "Install" (INS), the focus also remains on the list.
bulletCorrected a sizing issue with the splash and about screen images when running Windows in medium or large font display modes.
bulletAutomatic column width sizing in listviews now considers if Windows is running in medium or large font mode.
bulletFixed a bug in the sound configuration report window where clicking OK could trigger a repair operation.

bulletAdded a new scenery installation option. You can opt to install scenery to a new scenery subfolder named after the addon. For example, if your addon is called "La Guardia Airport.zip" and your default scenery installation folder is set to "Prepar3D\Addon Scenery folder", the installed addon's scenery files will go to "Prepar3D\Addon Scenery\La Guardia Airport\Scenery".
bulletAdded an option to use FS2004 files to help repair broken addons.

Addon Management

bulletAdded a "Statistics" item to several addon menus. This creates a report showing the total number of addons you have, total addon size, total number of files, your largest addon and more. Open Addit! Pro's main menu, click Addons and pick "Statistics". You will also find this new option in the addon menu of the Work With Addons window.
bulletEZdok Camera Addon files (including .vib, .ecs, .lim and .cam files) are now installed to the aircraft root folder instead of to Addit! Pro's storage folder.

bulletXML based flight files (.fxml) are now imported as Flights.

Customize

Edit Aircraft

bulletAdded a new texture section showing the texture configuration of the aircraft. Click the texture field to select from a menu of possible texture sets. Pick one to update the aircraft with your new choice of textures.

bulletYou can use Addit! Pro with either Prepar3D V1.x or V2.x installed on the same PC. On first launch, Addit! Pro will ask which version of Prepar3D you want to use. Select V1.x or V2.x.
bulletAdded Sim Files to the Program Information screen. This is the location to your simulator files (where your saved Flights are stored).
bulletUpdated the main Help menu. Added "Online Guides" and "Top Addon Sites". Replaced "Report a Bug" with "Online Support".
bulletAdded a new main menu option called Register for easy new user access to the registration screen. This item disappears after registration.
bulletReplaced the default toolbar Help button with the Exit button and removed the default Addon History button. Please note this only impacts the default buttons for new users and you can add the buttons back if you prefer.
