Cockpit Voices
I have been watching some of the videos that are available on youtube and noted that a lot of the users have cickpit voices that give them height information and speed as they are taking off and landing.
Im new to FSX and my planes dont have this. What am i missing.

Thanks

Craig

Hi Craig,

Some of the videos you have been watching may have been online players as the air traffic will give speed and height information. If these are videos of single players then they will probably be flying IFR, you can do this by using route planner and simply clicking IFR apposed to VFR which is already selected. By doing this the air traffic controller will give you orders on what height to maintain, what speed to maintain and when to turn.

Hope this information was useful, if not be sure to send me a message.

Thanks,
James

Hi James
Thanks for the reply. When playing single player i get air traffic control giving me directions and this is not the problem. I have seen videos where as the plane is touching down It starts to give the pilot the distance to landing. I thought this was a simple add on. If you guys have not heard of it however then maybe its just me.

Hi Craig,
I think your right, I would imagine it would be a simple add-on I will have a look through our files and see if we have anything that may help.

Thanks,
James

You mean that the aircraftcomputer is saying, 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 30, 20, 10, retard... right?

I'm looking for that as well, I have got some planes who do have a system that says: " retard ", but that unuseless...

I have a panel including this sounds... I haven't used it jet but maybe you can try it.. If you want the GPWS (the computersounds) only, you should copy the file with the GPWS sounds..

Good luck!
