saving addon files
I've been trying to get new aircraft. when I save the file, its being saved as a Windows Media Player file. It's not being saved as a zip file. And where are there directions to where you save the new aircraft? doe's the file auto attach to the FSX where I select aircraft to choose from? My computers operatating program is vista. Thanks for any help. it would be fun to download different aircraft.

You have to extract the zip file first and usually there is a folder that is extracted which is the aircraft.

Usually you can just drop that folder in

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes

Then load up fsx and the aircraft should be there.
