FSX RAF Hawker Hurricane 85 Sqn Hawker Hurricane Mk I P3854 of No 85 Sqn, flown by Sqn Ldr P W Townsend, RAF Church Fenton, September 1940.

Sqn Ldr Peter Townsend was shot down and injured on 31 August 1940 whilst flying Hurricane P3166. After convalescing in hospital, he rejoined 85 Sqn who had been sent north to 12 Group for a period of well earned rest and recuperation where P3854 was allocated to him at Church Fenton.

This repaint is for the Just Flight Hawker Hurricane Mk 1.
